Iron swords war  is a war between the State of Israel and various terrorist organizations, led by Hamas, a Palestinian Islamist-Sunni terrorist organization that controls the Gaza Strip. The war broke out on the morning of October 7, 2023, the day of Shabbat and the holiday of Simchat Torah, the 22nd of Tishrei 5Tashpad, following a large-scale surprise attack led by the terrorist organization Hamas from the Gaza Strip against Israel, with the participation of other terrorist organizations from the joint operations room, against military targets and civilians, especially in the area surrounding Gaza.

The surprise attack began with massive rocket fire barrages of thousands of rockets and mortar bombs towards the settlements surrounding Gaza and beyond Be'er Sheva, Hebol Lakish, Gush Dan, Shefala, Hasharon and later also to Jerusalem and Gush Etzion. Under the auspices of the airstrikes, approximately 3,000 terrorists infiltrated Israel and invaded IDF bases and settlements in the Gaza Envelope and committed hundreds of crimes against humanity. The terrorists massacred 1,145 Israelis and foreign citizens, including women, children, the elderly and infants, of which 364 people were massacred In the massacre at the Nova festival (which was the deadliest terrorist attack in the country's history), they committed systematic acts of rape and abuse, and kidnapped and returned to the Gaza Strip 253 soldiers, Israeli citizens and foreigners (several dozens of whom were murdered and 112 released so far). This made it the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust.

Since the beginning o of the war, I have used my film skills to spread awareness of the hostages' situation and I also joined a voluntary organization called "Edot 710" as an interviewer - documenting testimonies from the day of 7.10 when the war started.
